- 1/3 cup lupin flakes from The Lupin Co, alternatively use bread crumb
- 1 tsp turmeric spice blend or just turmeric powder. We used our favourite Golden Grind
- 2 tsp black sesame
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg, lightly whisked
- 250g firm tofu, cut into squares
- extra virgin olive oil
- a pinch of alg Chickpea Miso
In a small mixing bowl, combine lupin flakes, turmeric spice blend, black sesame, salt and pepper.
Dip tofu into the egg one square then coat tofu with lupin mixture.
Heat a non stick pan with extra virgin olive oil, pan fry lupin tofu until golden (approximately 1-2 minute on each side)
Sprinkle alg Chickpea Miso before serving.
Serve as a snack with chilli sauce or as a main with salads and whole grains.
